I have been at this a while now. Being involved in Band Baja has proved to be a rich and joyous experience - no matter how cranky and crusty I get sometimes.
Waaaaay back when the journey started Moin and I thought it might be a 'hoot' to do a radio show - why not - we already had Ad Asia Advertising and figured it was a good way to both service and capitalize on a solid client base. And besides, we already did TV shows and commercials - how different can radio be?
Different in some ways, the same in others. It's all about communication, telling an interesting story and telling it well. Radio is naked. There are no visuals to grab your attention. It's personal. Intimate.
It has been said radio is an antiquated technology, out of date and pace with the times - but for me the magic of the human voice telling a good story never goes out of fashion or date - and the Band Baja Experience is a pretty damn good story.
